It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia... DeVito's Best Work since Twins

Last Season when this show came out I was maybe one of about five people that had heard of it and I will be honest it didn't immediately catch my interest, it was fucking hilarious but never enough to make me tune in religiously...

this time around the gang from Paddy's takes no prisoners they lampoon everything from Muslim Extremists to miracles of god to the plight of the poor, homeless, and crippled. allot of the shows charm is in it's point and shoot style and lightning fast dialogue... it is so absurd and out there that it actually feels real.

I have to really hand it to the FX network for being so bold and innovative as well as being so lax in there standards and practices and censorship... It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is fucking awesome, nuff' said

I liked it, i really did except...

if you are a fan of the comic books, the wonderful story arcs, and the fascinating lineage of the X-Men... then this movie will fall about 90 yards short of the goal line for you. I liked it, it was an enjoyable MOVIE but as the final part of a trilogy and something that is supposed to re-tell the stories that allot of us love it is lacking. It is not Bret Rattners fault, he can't help it that he made Rush Hour and Money Talks and he did a fine job trying to make the movie we all wanted to see... I blame FOX and Bryan Singer. I know we do allot of Singer Bashing but it all comes from that fact that he is a fucking flat leaver! He jumped ship for Superman! For fucking Superman SUPER MAN SUCK BALLS COMPARED TO THE X-Men and beyond that the superman story has been told and told and told and told and told and told it's had forty-seven TV shows and a million movies most of which sucked (Super Man and Superman 2 were good... I also hold a special place in my heart for Louis and Clark: the New Adventures of Superman) How could you Bryan Singer? How could you?! Anyway X-Men gets a B, maybe a B+. Bryan singer gets a goose egg a big fat zero, F, nothing... bastard!

Gnarls Barkley... the best band i've stolen from in months

with there hip-hop savvy and lyrical movements that boggle the mind I really have to say that Gnarls Barkley has some of the best music I have pirated in months... Crazy is their single and its really good and very catchy in a weird way. To be honest it's its quirkiness that makes in so enjoyable songs like Boogie Monster and Smiley Faces have great beats there not harsh and loud and the use of sampling and rhythm guitar make for a smooth and pleasant sound that leaves you wanting more...

Beyond that they have been taking showmanship to the next level with there over the top press photos ranging from pulp fiction to Cheech and Chong...

...As Well As Super Man and Clark Kent

On a Side Bar I would just like to say that this Superman/Clark Kent Combo is so much better than Bryan Singer's New Superman... I am Sorry but that guy from Supernatural should have played Superman in Singers abomination... but alas Bryan didn’t think he could score with Mr. Smallville

Bryan Singer makes People uncomfortable...
(as to not get sued i will say that i dont know for sure if he makes people uncomfortable... it's my opinion)
but I'm getting off track...

So I love these guys and thought I would post their Video In Case anyone hasn't seen it because, I have to tell you, it is pretty CRAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZY

The First Look at Studip 60 on the sunset strip

So Aaron Sorkin has written many great things and two of my favortie Televison shows of all time (Sports Night, The West Wing) and now he has a new show it was called Studio 7 on the sunset strip but then something happened and it had to be changed to Studio 60 on the sunset strip

it looks great and the cast in amazing. Up until now you could only find the short that ran during the last episode of the West Wing but now i have an extended look here for your viewing pleasure... so without further adu' i give you studio 60 on the sunset strip

Go see Art School Confidential... just go ten minutes late

So luckily There is one Theatre in our area that shows movies that are a little off beat and indie and weird. I praise them for this becasue there not really getting more than $20 dollars in revenu from these movies and the $20 comes from the two people that write on this website...

that being said we went and say Art School Confidential the other night and i have to tell you i enjoyed it...

It wasn't the best movie i have seen latley but it was good. the dialouge was sharp and the visual format was gritty and dark and i loved it. Everyone in the cast was great but my favorite had to be Joel Moore who was Grandmas Boy and Dodgeball before this and i have to tell you although i thought he was funny in those movies and blew everyone else out of the water in this endevor...

my one major gripe would have to be the male frontal nudity in the first 10 to 15 minutes of the movie. this mans wang was out and about for what seemed like a life time but was actually about five or six minutes... if you can get past the penis then the movie is good and worth the money... great ending in particular!

The Fastball Special

So I am cursing through Hyperspace several days ago when I find this clip of Jay Leno where Hugh Jackman is showing a new X-Men 3 clip and I couldn't resist showing it here (WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD)

The fact is this clip looks great but many cry-baby, pain in the ass fan boys are complaining that it doesn't look good and that the Sentinel shouldn't just be two lights and Storm is lame and so on and so on. The thing they seem to hate the most is the Fast Ball Special and I will agree it is not the same as the regular move which is closer to a fast ball pitch

Can’t we all just agree that some things need to be changed in order for them to make sense and look good when you watch them? It is just more believable that he would spin around and throw him rather than throw him overhand. Also to the people complaining about the Sentinel and its design (well the head we haven't seen the body) there have been several different versions of the sentinels through the history of the X-Men.

So to say that the New Sentinel is wrong is stupid PLUS it isn't it looks exactly like the Sentinels in X-Men Legends the game!

As for storm she does suck she always has Ms. Berry should haven never been cast in the part but hindsight is twenty twenty I guess
I cannot, CANNOT wait to see this movie and I really hope that they keep going because from what I have seen and heard this looks like the best one yet (as I typed that somewhere Bryan Singer started to cry and that makes me happy because he is destroying Superman!)

NEW FLASH... Stay Alive is worse than actually dying

To think, we sit and bash these remakes and sequel/prequel pieces of preverbal garbage when in all actuality they are more entertaining and watchable than some of the original material out there... case in point Stay Alive, the newest in a line of steal my money, make no sense, have no ending, should have cost 20 dollars but most likely cost 20 million horror flicks out today.
If you're looking for something to make you soil your britches then, by all means, go see this movie... But I warn you, they are cheap scares like noises from nowhere, quick moving cameras, and ghosts popping up and running in the background. I am someone that loves the true scare, a scare that can cause you to fear it for the rest of your life (For me it was Umpa Lumpas... and if you don't think those mothers are creepy there is something wrong with you)
When you watch a good horror movie it deals with, actual, frightening things like Nightmare on Elm street (Your Dreams/Nightmares) Halloween (Serial Killer that Won't Die) or Dawn of the Dead (Zombies) not just cheap, easy scares...
But here’s the low down, Milo Ventimiglia (Gilmore Girls) was good, but only in it for a short amount of time, actually only one scene in the beginning before the STAY ALIVE Slate ran other than that the only true highlights were Samaire Armstrong (the OC, and ENTORAGE) and Sophie Bush (Presidential Kin folk) They weren't Oscar worthy performances but Samaire holds a special place in my heart because of her TV work although I think she could use a sandwich (SKINNNNNNY) and Ms. Bush could have been a bit less text-book Goth girl, with witch books and black hair... but I’d have to say they were the highlights of the film, them and the Hebrew Hammer Himself, Adam Goldburg.

Frankie "Still Look Twelve" Muinz was sub par if not less and should have died but didn't, I will assume it's because he's a virgin and everyone knows virgins don't die in Horror Flicks (Thank you Scream 1) which means Frankie is most likely never going to die... Some cat from out of nowhere Jon Foster (T3) was the lead and on a scale of one to ten in this movie, Ten being Milo and 1 being Frankie Unpopped Cherry I would rate him about a 6 or a five because he was emotionless and a major girl when it came to Fire (He was burned as a child for one day sucking in a horror movie or something)
SERIOUSLY... They screwed up something that has always been entertaining to me since the 8-bit days and that is my beloved Video Games, Not even Video Games could save this movie because THEY KILLED EVER DECENTLY COOL GUY CHATACTURE!
Adam Goldburg, Jimmi Simpson, and Milo Vintimiglia should have spent the whole movie playing the video game and beating dead bitches up but that didn’t happen, instead we got another 2hrs of feces being thrown on the wall and seeing what sticks. After Seeing the Hills Have Eyes and Stay Alive I really want someone to start putting movie executives in prison for murder in the 1st degree....
BECASUE THEY ARE KILLING MOVIES AS WE KNOW IT.........................................................

Don't Go See it, Don't give them more money, if you go see this movie then the Terrorists will win!!!

TGFA 78 out

PS. Terrorists wont actually win if you go see this movie

Da na na na na na na na na, Da na na na na na na na na BULLSHIT! (part two in a series of sequel bashing)

In 1988 The Movie Batman Came out in Wide Release and was a monster hit! Keaton and Nickleson did a flawless job portraying the immortal comic book figures Batman and the Joker... The Sequel Batman Returns was, again, a success and although good not better than the original... at this point Michel KEaton bowed out of the Batman franchise to do more respectable work... Like Multiplicity. They continued to make two more Batman movies where they added big name Celebes and over the top Batmobiles and I have to tell you even at the ages of 10 and twelve I thought they were terrible. The one highlight in both was Chris O’Donnell as Robin and even that wasn't a saving grace... but they kept making money until Someone finally WATCHED Batman and Robin and said how terrible it was (Although Uma was hot to trot and Batgirl wasn't bad either) and they stopped and it took them almost 10 years to make another movie which finally was as good if not better than the first and leaps and bounds above the three sequels before it, but it wasn’t really a sequel it was Hollywood’s newest fad the PRECUEL Dun dun dun!!!!! The Prequel is supposed to take place before the first movie which is great and I will give Batman Begins all the props in the world for being great everything about it was great it was dark and gritty and I loved it but at the end the jokers card was shown to connect it to the next movie in the series, which is BATMAN! So how is it that now they are talking about making a sequel? Are they going to remake BATMAN? You cannot remake BATMAN!!!!!!!! Remake all the shitty 70's TV shows you want but leave the original BATMAN movie alone because even if Christian Bale is better than Michel Keaton no one will ever, EVER be better than Jack Nickelson as the Joker........................ NO ONE!

Remember, Remember the 5th of November!

V For Very, Very Awesome!

If you no nothing about the story... you should read up! It's based on a Graphic Novel by Alan Moore and David Lloyd dealing with a man who wears a Guy Fox mask and through a series of events tries to over throw the tyrannical Government. It is said to have ties to the Margaret Thatcher Administration that was in control of England during the writing of this story... It's a great read from what I am told and is a must have for anyone that enjoys Anti Heroes and sharp tongued Dialogue.

The Movie, was amazing it twists and it turns and it just keeps you on the edge of your seat, which you're in for a little bit longer than I would have liked that being said I couldn’t think of anything really to cut so I guess just be prepared to sit and watch as this amazing story unfolds...

Natalie Portman is breathtaking... she goes through this brilliant transformation right before your eyes, plus the site of her in the Lolita costume wasn’t half bad! But more to the point the scenes that she spends getting her head shaved and being locked up are flawless she absolutely wins you with one sorrowful tear.

As for V himself (Hugo Weaving) well, he plays a roll that is so expressive and real and yet you never see his face he exudes expression and all you see is a smiling guy fox mask!

Now im not saying that this movie is for everyone, I am saying that if you’re in the mood for an action adventure that really has some class and kick ass then head to the cinema and see V for Vendetta as soon as you can! It has Flash and Mayhem and beauty and pain it is one of the best Films I have seen so far this year...

Peace Out and Stay Hip

The Blue Collar Not much Comedy Hour

To Begin, I would like to say that I truly enjoy the Blue Collar Comedy Tour movies, not so much the TV show but to each is own... Larry the Cable guy with his slack jawed
"I Don’t Care Who you are that’s Funny Right there" and "Git'R'Done" are hilarious when in the right mood. However, his solo Effort Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector paled in comparison to his Act.

The Movie ran, or to be more accurate, slowly hobbled through 89 minutes of celluloid with only several minutes of genuinely funny moments, most of these moments involved Donny the Retard (NO joke that’s his name)(David Koechner) who is a character from Larry's Stand up routine. Amy (Iris Bahr) did an alright job considering the material but she wasn’t a strong enough character to actually make it the semi buddy flick that it was supposed to be and by the end of the movie you still aren’t sure why Larry and Amy still want to be partners. The Mayor (Joe Pantoliano) is quite possibly the absolute low light of the movie along side Bart Tatlock (Thomas F. Wilson) who came in at a close second to Pantoliano, the only saving grave of Wilson’s Performance is that he played Biff in The Back to the Future Trilogy.

There was one running gag in which Larry keeps using slang to name things and he say "I can do this all day!" that is a bit funny and the outtakes at the end are better than any one part of the movie! There’s nothing really good to take away from the movie, no great one liners not laugh out loud moments... nothing!

I would say don’t waste your money on this stinker because im sure Comedy Central or UPN with buy it and show it constantly attached to the actually entertaining material of the
Blue Collar Boys and even then I would avoid it at all costs.....
