The Blue Collar Not much Comedy Hour

To Begin, I would like to say that I truly enjoy the Blue Collar Comedy Tour movies, not so much the TV show but to each is own... Larry the Cable guy with his slack jawed
"I Don’t Care Who you are that’s Funny Right there" and "Git'R'Done" are hilarious when in the right mood. However, his solo Effort Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector paled in comparison to his Act.

The Movie ran, or to be more accurate, slowly hobbled through 89 minutes of celluloid with only several minutes of genuinely funny moments, most of these moments involved Donny the Retard (NO joke that’s his name)(David Koechner) who is a character from Larry's Stand up routine. Amy (Iris Bahr) did an alright job considering the material but she wasn’t a strong enough character to actually make it the semi buddy flick that it was supposed to be and by the end of the movie you still aren’t sure why Larry and Amy still want to be partners. The Mayor (Joe Pantoliano) is quite possibly the absolute low light of the movie along side Bart Tatlock (Thomas F. Wilson) who came in at a close second to Pantoliano, the only saving grave of Wilson’s Performance is that he played Biff in The Back to the Future Trilogy.

There was one running gag in which Larry keeps using slang to name things and he say "I can do this all day!" that is a bit funny and the outtakes at the end are better than any one part of the movie! There’s nothing really good to take away from the movie, no great one liners not laugh out loud moments... nothing!

I would say don’t waste your money on this stinker because im sure Comedy Central or UPN with buy it and show it constantly attached to the actually entertaining material of the
Blue Collar Boys and even then I would avoid it at all costs.....
